House 4 Hope provides a spiritual environment while hiking throughout San Diego, leading people in prayer over San Diego and raising funds to pull abused women out of their helplessness into their independence in Christ. Hiking to lead all to meet the Lord in the wilderness of our lives.
Our Why.
House 4 Hope isn’t just a hike—it’s a journey of transformation. As we trek through the stunning landscapes of San Diego, we unite in prayer, lifting up the city and those in need. With every step, we raise funds to rescue and restore abused women, helping them break free from hopelessness and step into the freedom and independence found in Christ.In the wilderness of life, God meets us.Most women stay in abusive relationships because their abuser has caused them to be isolated and completely dependent on them. They have no one to turn to and nowhere to go. Women are afraid of losing their children and in some cases their own life. The abuser sets an environment where the abused is in a helpless state of mind, making it very difficult to leave. In this state of mind the abused do not understand that they are being abused even if the abuse is physical.I had somewhere to go. I have a supportive family. Not everyone is blessed with that support. My heart is to be that support and provide more than a place for women and their children to go. To truly live out Psalms 40:2:
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.House 4 Hope will provide a place to heal, a place to grow spiritually, emotionally, physically, and become financially independent. We start with God and walk through forgiveness. We aim to bring awareness of what abuse is to all so that families and friends will support the abused and not the abuser. We will create an environment to strengthen women spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially. We start with housing and financial help while teaching the women their own value so they can be independent in all areas of life.
